Default 5th gen mirrors on 4th gen

So the question has been asked w/o any real conclusive answers so I was wondering if any 5th gen owners would be able to go measure their mirrors' lengths so I could compare it against mine. Doesnt have to be down to the mm or anything. I am aware you can use integra mirrors but I wanna know about ludes. Below is a pic of lengths I want and how to describe them. TIA

No they will not fit without some sort of modification. I found some 5th gen M3 mirrors a long time I wanted for my 4th gen and came here and was told that.

you also have to think about where the bolts go through the door.

when my sis had a 5th gen i took her interior mirror cover thing off to look at if they would fit but never actually tried to put them on. they look close tho

Well I know they all arent gonna be a perfect fit w/o some kinda modding. I just want measurements to see if theyll fit the contour of the window and such. Integs fit, but I hear you gotta grind the base plate. If mounting holes arent the same its not really any biggie, its just a drill bit away. I am pretty crafty if need be....

5th gen peeps hook us up pls....

i would have gotten the measurements before, but i thought the conclusion was that they would not fit. anyways here are the measurements from my 5th gen:

length: 11"
height: 6 1/4"
base: 8 1/2"

the black trim at the base of the window goes behind the mirror, so the backing of the mirror where it mounts to the car is not perfectly flat. i'm not sure if the 4th gen is the same, but its something to keep in mind.

sweet thx mang....upon comparison the #'s are very close. for me its
length- 11" (same)
height- 6 1/4 - 6 1/2 (same or depending on my eyeballing it)
base- 8 1/4 or so

these seem pretty close. I just may have to roll the dice and buy a pair of aftermkt mirrors and see if theyll fit with a bit of modding.
