Default H22A Swap - Please Troubleshoot

I just had a friend swap an H22A into my Prelude. I got the car back tonight, and I have the following things to say about the car as it sits:

The engine sounds great mechanically.
The power steering pump is making noise.
The idle is bouncing between 750 and 3500 RPMs, and I have no clue why.

I'm concerned about the idle. Why would the idle be fluctuating so much? Perhaps this can be troubleshot, and I can fix this at home.

Thanks!

power steering belt might be tight, if not, swap with your old one (i'm assuming you are using the one that came with the engine)

idle might be due to a loose vacuum hose or something, thats what was with mine when i got the swap, we missed one of the lines causing surging idles
