yes i have comprehensive but i wont know untill tommorrow morning if i am going to be covered due to aftermarket parts. i took my turbo stuff off and the adjuster still figured out that it was a motor swap and noticed some little things that i thought he wouldnt. my plan is to buy a shell and put every thing from my car in it. it sucks that i have to break down my motor again but i want to make sure nothing is warped. also what is everyone's opinion on salvaging my car. the only hang up i am having is if the fire jeprodized the integrity of the frame rails. opviously the wiring and all has to be redone.

btw, did you close the hood after you saw the fire? cuz closing the hood limits the amount of oxygen feeding the fire, so if this happens to anyone, close the hood and the fire might not be as big.

i don't think opened it becuase the hood would be very hot..then again he said the flames were 15 feet in the air so maybe he did open it..

sorry for the lost. i think closing the hood would have done nothing. i friends accord caught on fire right before his eyes. and i think nobody wants to go near a car thats already on fire. lol

sorry about your car man.... i was thinking about it for awhile now i see some of my buddies with their heavily moddified cars keep a small fire extinguisher and a pair of thick gloves in their cars i was wondering why all the time....
