Default Steering wheels - Looking for some experience/input

While I was at the track on Monday I noticed that my turning radius was rather small through a few hairpins. I currently run a 320mm Momo Monte Carlo wheel. I am now thinking about getting a bigger wheel. I ran a 350mm Sparco before this one but the alcantara wore out pretty quickly. I had no track experience with that wheel but I fear that my legs may hit it with my new bucket seat.

I will take a picture of me sitting in the car in proper driving position to show the available leg room.

My question is: Would a 330mm wheel make that much difference in turning radius or are people on here happy and satisfied with their 350mm?

The new wheel I am considering is the Nardi Sport Rally(blk lthr w/ red stitch) in either 330mm or 350mm. This particular wheel is spaced out an extra 3.1inches do to it's design so that may help my leg problem.

What do y'all think of my rant? Opinions/suggestions?

Thanx.

do you have a quick release? quick releases will typically put the steering wheel closer to the driver. i actually liked my 350mm momo tuner + quick released. for autocross, it felt awesome and for daily driving i even liked the closer steering wheel. however, i do drive fairly close to the steering wheel and upright unlike most stunnas out there.

I do like the wheel close enough to me to where I have the 90 degree bend in my arms. I ran a q/r before but it didn't work with the NSX-R horn button I bought so I sold the q/r. With the 11mm adaptor plate and the 3.1inches the wheel itself gives I should be ok. If not, I can always order a spacer since they come in almost all sizes.

I do sit a lot different now with that BC bucket so the leg thing is a concern. 350mm may be too big or 330mm may not make enough difference in the turning radius. I'd hate to order the non-ideal wheel.

Thanx for your input though. Appreciated

i had a sparco evo seat installed at the same time i was using my 350mm steering wheel + qr and never had any problems with my legs hitting the wheel. i do not know how up or down you sit compared to stock however. for reference, my seating position was slightly higher with my evo compared to oem. still, no leg contact; not even close!

The rear of the seat is lower but the front is higher. So the angle is a bit different than stock so I sit closer than before to the wheel. I'm 6 feet tall. With a spacer I should be fine with either size. Now comes the question of which one will give me the turning radius I desire. If I can find my old Sparco wheel I'll try a test fit to see.

I like my 350 Monte Carlo with the quick release. Puts the wheel right in your lap basically. Now I don't have any comparison other than to stock for now, and no track days in either.
