Default Weird Noise

Whenever i go up a drivway ramp on an angle i hear this loud pop, like the spring is doing somthing. But when i go up the drivway ramp perfectly straight there is no noise. I have omni street full coilovers. Does anyone elses car do this?

Good question, cuz mine does this as well. And I have Omni Sports.

I'm not exactly sure what it is, but after numerous times of looking at it, everything looks fine.

Good point though.

Mine does this too. Its from the coilovers. Your wheel is falling so low that the spring isnt being compressed anymore. It actually just falls loose around the shock. When it's recompressed the lip of the spring is catching on the giant lower height adjusting nut and then pops back into place.

In this picture see how the gold nut is tapered...it does this so if the spring catches on the inside of it, the taper throws it back onto the flat part. That's what that big klunk noise is.

naw I dont think so the omnis are pre loaded and there is only abot 22 mm of travel in the shaft itself. so you can "pick up a wheel" on drop offs and curbs like that when you do this there is no loss of tension on the spring to the body of the strut

I would check all bolts and axles too

Doesn't matter, if you expect to turn you're car into a race car then you give up these things when you replace the stock oem honda shocks and springs. You think just because you buy the same thing thats more expensive it's not gonna do that?, it does the same thing, just built better then the cheap ones.
