Default "Mushy" Brakes

Alright, I got to drive a friend's R and his brakes were definitely more sensitive then mine. There is a lot of play in the pedal. What could be wrong? We both got serviced about the same time and had 80% of our brake pads left...

Btw, the "mushy" brakes didn't start until after I hit a wall at Sears Point(NASA event). I lost my rear bumper, but that was back in October. Spun out.. put both feet in really hard.. and the brakes haven't the same ever since. I've check the brake fluids and all, but it all seems to be in good working order.

What exactly did you do when you "checked" the brake fluids and all?

Drain/flush and replace your brake fluid - you probably boiled it. Get new fluid and all should be good again.
