Default TYC lights with xenon kit... pics inside. Quick answer needed. THANKS

Hi,
I have heard many gd things about the quality of the 1 piece TYC projector headlights and have done lots of searching and found some gd stuff. Just my final question on these headlights and some pictures i found.

PICS:

I know that TYC brought out some normal 1 piece projector headlights and also some special HID 1 piece headlights.

Now my question is, someone put an HID kit into these headlights. I am wondering if he just used the normal Halogen projectors to get this quality without retrofitting or did he use the special HID tyc headlights which i understand use Philips Projectors.

So can someone please just clarify this for me... Did someone put a xenon kit in a normal set of TYC 1 piece projectors?

THANKS A LOT EVERYONE!

that type of cutoff, with the blue on top, and fairly sharp and decent beam pattern, does NOT look like the quality TYC would produce.

AKA

Looks retrofitted to me....but thats all i can say, LOOKS....

You can try this....

Get a kit and test it if it doesn't look that good you can just put it in the high beam. Then do a proper retrofit on the low beam.

Well that's what I plan to do.

Just make sure your car uses something like a h3 with the filament laid out like a hid is. Otherwise it will definetly not work.

All my cars use h3 so I plan to get a h3 hid kit soon and test it out in all the various fog, driving, high and lows. Should be a nice little experiemnt.

I have seen some nice beam patterns with hid kits in tyc. But it doesn't seem to work with every tyc lamp.

The problem is... The Lights used for a 92-96 hatch are H1 Bulbs... and also the low beam and high beam are all in one. So a bi xenon head light would have to be used... or... lose the high beam all together.
