Default Heat Soak

hi all, im new to this side of the forum. im about to buy a s2000. im doing research on the s2000 right now and i notice a lot of ppl talk about "heat soak" in regards to the intake.

can someone explain to me why this is a problem? ive seen someone mention it may make the car "stumble in the middle rpm". why is the f20c engine particularly sensative to increased intake temps. and do you need to get a snorkel on a daily driven, completely STOCK ap1?

thanks.

That issue is very very rare. The only ppl I have seen complain are those who are out in 100+ degree temps and stuck in traffic. Otherwise it doesn't happen. I wouldn't be concerned at all about it. No need to buy the snorkel

the symptoms are more likely to occur at idle. nothing to worry about.
