ITR suspension
i did a search but couldnt get anything.
ITRs are supposed to be one of the best handling cars (from the factory) for their price and reliability. i havent heard much about GSRs, so i was wondering, is every suspension component different on an ITR? what would you need to upgrade to make a GSR handle like an ITR? the first thing i can imagine is a rear sway bar w/the bsq kit.
how do GSRs compare to ITRs? thanks

yea, checkout this thread man: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=151470
But you can add reinforcement, such as F (better) & R strut bars, rear tie bar, to stiffen things up.
Adjustable shocks would be an improvement over ITR OEMs.
Somebody here was getting their GSR to pull over 1g on the skidpad w/ better shocks, the lower tie bar, ITR rear sway, Koni yellow shocks, better tires, possibly a few other goodies, but nothing too extravagant.

i got the chasis bar from JDM honda parts a few months ago. i thought it was something else but im glad it is what it is. theres two bolts under the carpet in the back (19 MM i think) and it goes there. it drastically improves handling. i think it was 65.???
I also have Type R shocks and springs and LCA's on my GS-R. One thing I think is interesting is that there is a lot emphasis on the ITR rear sway bar and when I compared it to my GS-R's, it is about twice as thick. Definately replace the rear sway bar if you install the Type R suspension, but you can still use your GS-R sway bar.
If all you have are the Type R shocks and springs, the only thing you would need to replace are the GS-R LCA's with the Type R LCA's. The Type R LCA's are twice as beefy as the GS-R's. Goodluck.

no its not. the itr doesnt come with this at least not the one here?? it goes under the carpet inthe trunk. there two big bolts there , one on each side of the car. u unbolt that and this bolts in.
No it is located on the other side of the spare tire, the side closest to the back seat, under the carpet on the chasis.
And where did you find it at jdmhondaparts?? I just tried to look for it without any luck.

just lift up the carpet and everyone will see what im talking about as far as where it goes.......
if it isnt this bar, then it isnt a R bar... this is the factory ITR performance bar...
Or it could be the Bennen bar, but that 1 I doubt that you found for 65 used...
BTW... i though you said you got the bar on EBAY...
