These threads get posted all the time. No clue why people still bother.

True, Pete is terribly notorious for his lack of customer service skills and it's cost him plenty of customers. But as one of the lucky ones that has gotten a pspec with a 20% off group buy, it is currently the best...THE BEST short shifter out there for the 5th gen. I love the smooth shifts (I know I keep mentioning that in other threads) and the shorter throws and shortened height. It's a great product which is why some people are willing to put up with the lack of customer service. The last group buy I joined it jumped to 40 people in just a few days. When you come out with yours I'm sure that it will also sell, and I can't wait to hear some reviews.

I guess everyone is different. Personally, when I purchase something I expect to be able to communicate with the seller in a timely manner. Otherwise, you end up like Pete's customers, wondering where the heck your stuff is and starting to worry since they won't answer emails or IMs. I will usually pay a higher price for peace of mind. Its like searching eBay and trying to save $4 on a $100 item by buying it from a guy with 80% feedback or spending $4 more and getting it from someone with perfect feedback and you don't have to worry.
