Ok i have these ugly chrome rims and i want to paint them, i know it's ghetto, but i have no money to buy new rims, any tips on painting over chrome?

 

Well, I would start by identifying what the finish is. Is it just highly polished steel, some sort of chrome paint, or another sort of coating. Your best bet is just to strip what ever is on there and start from bare metal. There is a sticky in this forum on painting wheels.
