Default Knock Sensor Harness Plug; re-pin wire, top or bottom of plug?

I have searched 973 threads...

I cant seem to find a picture of the female plug (on the engine harness) for the knock sensor. The plug on my harness is missing. The wire is there and the little seal. I just need to know what position to pin it on on top (gut feeling) or bottom??? I dont have the engine where I can look at it. It is an 99-00 Si Harness.

So can you help me out?

a picture would help so we could identify what you consider "top" or bottom....

wire goes on the top pin in the round 2 pin connector. The top of the connector being the clip that u depress with your thumb to remove the plug.

Thank you. I was lucky enough today to compare it to another harness. Appreciate the post never the less.

Cheers,
