What fuel pump would u recommend on this setup...gsr
ok heres my setup finishing in a month or 2 not sure what pump ill need..one freind sais the walboro 255 will be ok but ill be hittin 400hp+ prolly so im not sure...

b18c block.....eagle rods, 84mm wiseco 8:5:1 pistons...darton sleeved
t3/t4 turbonetics...and bunch of other crapollla....
one of my friends has a aeromotive pump thats good to a lot of hp but seems like overkill....

Its lookin like the 600whp mark is where people start lookin for another pump /set up.
I run 550s but I know people run the 255 with 880s+
I'd say you're more than set with the regular walbro 255 intank until you start aiming above 600hp

fuel PRESSURE makes the biggest differnece on fuel pump selection.
40 psi base pressure + 40 psi Boost (1:1 regulator) = 80psi fuel pressure. MOST fuel pumps do not flow very well at these levels.
from what ive seen 70-80psi is where most pumps effeciency drops like a rock. Weldon makes a pump for 80psi and the next step up is 200psi 1000hp pump, which is what i will be using.
you need to list your horsepower goals for a fuel pump recamendation.

just looking to hit the 400hp mark, so much stuff takes into effect if you try to go higher. second it will be a street car, prolly not daily but pretty often. thanks for the replies...
