Default transmissoin swap done today have a quick ??????

ok i bought a h22 but came with a auto tranny so i bought a manual tranny for a h22 and put it on today and it seams that the housing is different cuz not all the bolt holes on the block are being used is that normal? also there is a sticker on the tranny i looked it up and it says that it is from a h22 but how do i make sure that it is and they diddnt just switch the sticker? also i bought a starter off of ebay for 92-96 honda prelude but when i put it on it was kinda hard to get on i had to pound it in there if i remember all the starters i did they pretty much fell off when you took the bolts off. thankx guys.

the starter should not need the persuasion of a hammer......

the starters are different from auto to 5speed, maybe you have the wrong starter? even it it was an f series tranny it should "bolt" up fine, the starter def should slide ride in
