well, i guess my time to get fucked over has finally come. over 3 weeks ago i sent $250 to SILVER2K1GSR with paypal for an alpline 9835. the last time i heard from him he said he was shipping it out. i've bought alot of things from many people on h-t, and never had any problems whatsoever untill this ****.

this guy lives in tx and to tell you the truth i am ready for a vacation.

what can i do about getting my money back before i have to take other measures?

 

First talk to pay pal, sometimes when you pay there is a box you can check that says you'll pay a small fee in exchange for a money back guarantee on goods, but its before you pay. Daym, too many scammers. i hope that **** gets straighten out.

I would really like to buy stuff here on HT, some people are seling **** for really good prices. But there a pretty good chance of getting fuked. Even some of the reputable companies are screwing people around. U know how many horror stories i read about people waiting months for manifolds or never even geting them at all.

 

nothing really, that's the risk you take when buying from random-douche-bag online.

 

i just sent in a complaint with paypal. i've been messaging this guy for days and he's not responding.

I work in the credit card industry. I see these things happen every single day. The only way you have insurance is if you use your credit card. That way you have proof and can do a chargeback. Even with paypal you can set it up so that when you pay it is done as a credit instead of a debit....

 

yeah im pretty sure im screwed for now. i paid him using funds i already had in my pay pal account.
