Default Insight Antenna Pix

Well after having crappy reception from my S2000 antenna (kit purcahsed from RStoR), I tried the Honda Insight Antenna.

the antenna is 14 bucks from http://www.handa-accessories.com (i think that's the site)

anyway, here it is

note: the base is smaller than the s2k, but it actualy seals so there is no hole for water to leak thru.

Nope S2K owners have good recpetion with their own antenna. There's other things which aren't visible that make the S2K antenna work in an S2K.

h,, what'd i do wrong w/ the picture?

anyways, yeah the insight antenna makes a WORLD of difference (at least for me)

plus, i had wrapped the base with like 20 feet of copper wire too so i was disappointed in the s2000 antenna's reception.

u can just swap em, RStoR's kit works with either

from what i can see from the kit, all u would need is to make sure you use the stock mount(black thing) where the antenna rises from. otherwise it should work

however, i can't remember where the civic antenna is. mine was easy to get to but if the antenna is in the fender or something, then i dunno how easy it is to pull off the fender and such

- reception is almost as good as stock, huge improvement over the s2000. no more rising and falling antenna R0x0rz

just make a switch, mad reception when you want it, retracted antenna when you don't....and it'll cost you around 5 bucks and a little work. our site has info, of course

right his kit, and the stock mount where the extending/retracting thing came out of (the black piece)

direct fit, looks nice, and better reception (cheaper too 20 vs 14 bucks heh)
