Man o man, my brand new baby, and someone scratched it, its not too bad, I need to know whats some good stuff to buy maybe to buff it out myself. It even has ugly red paint in the scratch from the f*#$ers car.

 

if it's not too bad, try 3M Rubbing Compound

 

For minor scratches in the future, or even this scratch, you can go to Autozone and in the paint section there should be some brush+pen scratch fixers. There should be a color for your Honda. They had my Rallye Red color there :-)

 

i like meguiar's scratch X, it worked good on my '99 black civic, i haven't tried it on my '06 Si though....

 

i will check auto zone, I wanna try some scratch 'remover' or something too... id rather not just use a paint pen and paint over it, seems to me like thatd stick out.

 

You have to apply thin layers, and wait 30 min. for each layer to dry, and once done, apply a clearcoat. Kind of a long process, but it comes in the exact colors of manufacturers instead of an approximate shade.

Good sugestion

You could also try using rubbing compound once you have applied a few thin layers of touch-up paint. Apply it very gently to get the hang of it. This should even out the thickness of the touch-up paint to match the cars paint. Once your done with that use normal car wax to bring back the shine.
