Supercharged Legend
I am interested in supercharging my 1991 3.2i Honda Legend, does anyone know if this has been done before. Are there any superchargers that will fit a 91 Legend? I will be running a new exhaust system at the same time to match the charger.
there was an issue of Honda Tuning (i can't remember which one cause its at home and i'm at work) where a guy had a custom turbocharged G1 Legend. Anything is possible if you put the time, money and effort into it. I say go for the custom turbo kit because i think a custom supercharger would be a little more difficult.

Unfortunately, no. The Legend uses the C32a engine, which shares no parts with the J-series.

I havent looked at the headgaskets for the c32a in the Legend and the C32 in the NSX but it "may" be possible to put the NSX Heads on the legend motor and then you could get the nsx supercharger for it in theory.

Yeah the C20 (a 2.0l version of the C27 that is found in the acura legend) came with a stock turbo, and quite a nice one at that with its variable geometry and such which is controlled by vacuum pressure. As for getting that turbo to work on the c27 I dont think it would work due to the fact that it is variable geometry and such. It wouldnt be that hard to make a custom turbo manifold for the legend as long as you have the manual version of the car because there would be quite a bit of room to run the manifold, but I dont know about the auto because I have never looked under their hood before.

you guys are talking apples and oranges here...
stop the confusion!
1st gen legend (87-90) motors are transverse mounted! there is even a factory JDM turbo version!
2nd gen legend (91-95) motors are longitudally mounted, and do not even have room for headers (though there are a few customs).
as was said earlier in this thread, there are no 2nd gen S/C or turbo unless it's custom fabbed. and even those apps are most often scrapped at some point in the process.
the NSX heads will not mate up with the 2nd gen legend block. and even if they did, it's not worth the work. you'd gain maybe 10-15 whp because you can't rev the legend motor that much higher to see real benefits from the head.
