Resonator Removal???
I just put on my girlfriends aem short ram and was wondering if I should remove the resonator. I took that horn piece off, but not the whole box. She likes quiet, but wanted a little more sound on the top end. The car is a 2000 accord coupe(manual). Thanks for your input.
That's what I was wondering. I was looking at it and the bolt is way under there. Any suggestions on how to get to it without removing the bumper.

How do you remove it without
taking off the front bumper?
is it in a differant spot than the
v6's?
should be the same spot
do you hafto take off the plastic skid guard
or just the inner wheel well..?
One bolt is easy to get to
but the one closest to the front is
a bi@*%.
FYI, after the removal of the stock air intake arm and airbox, your resonator becomes dead weight. It is useless and has no effect on airflow. Remove the biatch.
When I removed mine, I removed the passenger side front tire. It is right there and that will give you plenty of room. Maybe you don't have a 6th gen, I don't remember.

well i did that too, went and got a case of redline =D
Yeah first thing i did to my car was remove the resonator also... then all my friends asked me to remove theirs as well. Removed it from 3 civics, 2 4cyl accords, a v6 accord and 3.0 cl in a day or two.
