Map Sensor question?

hey i was just wondering whats a map sensor? and what does it do? please any info would be great

i think map sensor stands for manifold absolute pressure sensor, and it measures the air pressure in the manifold

Yep, the map and rpm signal's are inputs to the ecu to read out the base fuel injection and timing advances. So it is very important!
