hollowing out 2.5 cat

someone told me if i hollow out my cat, it will give me more power all around what do u guys think

Ok, buy a test pipe, go to a junk yard, pick up a pos cat, cut off the heat shield, weld heat shield to out side of test pipe. Or hammer a 2.5" pipe through and old cat

hollowing the cat will not do squat except cause turbulance and disrupt the exhaust flow, either get a test pipe or put a pipe through it.
