y17 swap guestion

I HAVE A 2000 CIVIC EX AND IT HAD THE Y8 IN IT AND IT BLEW UP SO I

BOUGHT A Y7 AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I COULD JUST THROW THE Y7 IN

WITH OUT CHANGING ANYTHING.

thats a no, but what did you blow up, you would want to swap your y8 tranny to the y7, and if the head is still alive swap that in too, but then it would be bolt on
