I posted in the ITR forum, but the all great and mighty Type R owners(me and afew others excluded) think they are so great and their shiznit donet stink. I need some help finding a rather rare JDM piece for my car. Its a St Mays Shotgun exhaust system. I know the pros and cons of it, I was wondering if you guys know where I could find one. My usual JDM hook up has come up empty and he cleared this for me. So do you guys know where I can find one or contact a place to get one? The only guy i know that had one Is Wayne Chang on his 19976 White GSR i saw on VTEC Net.

Soooo what is the point of having 2 mufflers? Why not just one? I'm sure you could easily have something like that custom made.

 

there is no point persay. I just think its really cool looking and super unique to have since almost nobody in the states has one. Twin pipes exiting from the middle. I could have one made, but id rather buy the kit since its all ready to go

 

I think he got his from VIS motorsports, but I'm not sure b/c that was 3 years ago.

BTW, that exhaust is pretty loud, but it sounds pretty good. Ground clearance is really low and when he had it on his car (lowered like 2"), it would scrape if you drove in the middle of the road on roads with a sharper apex for water run-off.

Isn't that going to look funny coming out the center, when you still have the right side cutout for the exhaust in the rear bumper?

I really dont think it will show because I have a black R so the cut int he bumper will probably disapear in the undercarage. If it didnt, Id have my buddy fill it in. No prob.

 

I just got off the phone with him, and he said that he got it from VIS almost 4 years ago when he got all his fiberglass JDM front-end conversion stuff from them. Something around $500+ for it...b-pipe and muffler sections.

Custom mounting needed tho.

 

Haha whether they like it or not, many of the ITR guys DEFINITELY come off that way.

I'll keep my eyes open for you man....I remember seeing them back in the day, but I'll see what I can come up with. Have you contacted DragonCTR69? I know he makes trips to JDM-land pretty frequently.

 

Off topic, but what and where can I get that lip rear lip on the picture with integ/stmay exhaust???????????
