Default Mig welding gas/regulator question

I'm new to the solid wire gas welding, all I have done is flux core and stick welding. So here is my setup/problem.

I finally got a hobart 140 and it came with an argon regulator. I have a 5lb bottle of co2 and a similar size bottle of argon... What kind of regulator or hardware do I need to make this all work together to make a 25/75 mix?

I diddnt buy pre-mixed becuase I see myself doing some 100% argon at times and 100% co2 at others. Im thinking if I get a co2 regulator and some kind of Y splitter that might work. But I dont want to ghetto this.

Yeah I'm not sure how it will work since I've never done it that way but you could buy a splitter and another regulator, split after the regulators into the one hose going into the welder and adjust the regulators to mix it at a 75/25 ratio...........seems ghetto and more expensive than buying a bottle of premixed tho.

Yeah, that idea was silly. I took my un-used 20cf bottle of argon back and got a 55cf bottle of mix. I should be good now.

55cf is like a scuba tank. The "average" helium balloon tank is about 80cf for reference

have you ever used an OXY/Acetelene torch? that setup is exactly the same as you have described. all you would have needed was another set of gages and requlators. then you mix it with 3parts Argon and 1 part C02. Yes it wuld probably take a minute or 2 to get it dialed in but it wouldnt be that hard.
