Default civic si with semi-auto

god, i love the civic si so much but i can't drive a manual. i know, i should learn it but i still perfer auto. that's why i wish honda would make a civic si with a semi-auto transmission with shift paddles on steering wheels. i think it's a good idea because it would allow drivers to shift gear faster even faster and allow people who can't or don't want to drive a manual enjoy the civic si. the civic coupe just isn't the same.

the 06 vw gti has semi-auto. i might end up buying this car if civic si doesn't get semi-auto. it's much more expensive than a civic si though.

Dude, borrow a friend's old Ford or Toyota pick up, get the hang of driving stick, and go test drive an SI. A straight is not hard to master.

You prefer an auto because you can't drive stick yet. Once you drive a stick, auto will just make you cry.

i know manual is fun on weekends but on weekdays, i commute a lot and usually stuck in heavy traffic. i don't want to do anymore work than i have to. that's why i like the idea of a semi-auto. i can switch between the two whenever i feel like it.

RSX, they have auto manuals like you want, just not on the steering wheel.

no Si or Type-S, GSR or Type-R will ever come automatic... stick is for the true sports cars not automatic.

The only reason I'll vouch for an auto is because it allows my friend who has had surgery on both of his knees to enjoy the wonderful world that we know as Honda.

SMG isn't for the weak. formula one cars uses SMG. look at Lamborghini, they are embracing the SMG tech. it allows you to shift faster, therefore accelerating faster. is that not a good thing for civic si?

Civic = $17-20k
Lambo = $100k and up

Go figure why one would be better fitted.
