Did you factor in the weight of the rider to the power/weight equation?
If you assume approximately 110whp and 400lbs for the bike, you get power/weight of 0.275 And for a 2200lb hatch that means you'd need 605whp. And 2200 with driver is pretty light. If you assume 2500lbs with a driver and gas which is more reasonable, it's only equivalent to 687.5whp.
If you factor in the rider, you're at more like 550-600lbs. At 600lbs and 110whp, that's power/weight of .183 For a 2500lb hatch that's equivalent to 458.3whp.
So while 600's are absurdly fast, they aren't quite as absurd power weight as you were saying.

If you start a pull in their powerband in first, the bikes can't be full throttle because the front wheel won't stay down. not to mention that a civic with 600+ whp would not be able to get any traction whatsoever under WOT in first gear....youd need some fat slicks to keep that kind of power grounded in a FWD.

I had a stock integra wheel, coilovers at barely lower than stock, black coated FMIC, and rusty straight 2.5" exhaust with a 42" resonator with a full muffler as well.
