hey i have a 97 civic ex and i want to drop it that some 17 in. rims would look clean on it but anyways i want ir for the races too so what kit of suspension would u guys suggest me. i willing to pay from 500 to 300

 

If your looking for a good suspension that will give you a good stance,ride nice with ability to race. Gonna have to up the budget a little bit for new. Look at Koni , Ground Control, Tein and there is a lot more.

$500, that would only buy the Koni's. Your best bet with that lower budget is to

A) buy the shocks and work on the springs
B) buy something like KYB AGX and H&R Sport springs.
C) buy good springs stiff like GC and blow your stock shocks, then be stuck paying for new shocks anyways.
D) save up the $760-$800 and buy GC/Koni Yellows

D is the best option and the one i'd recommend. Sorry man, $300 or $500 just dosen't buy the quality components that would help with racing (auto-x or drag) so you need to up the funds to atleast $760. The Koni yellows are $460 shipped from 2 vendors in the marketplace and GC can be found for $300 shipped or slightly ($40 maybe) if you get the off the shelf standard rates. Still min $720 and that would take some looking around to get the GC for $260 shipped. Off the shelf rates are 380/280 for Civic/Integra I believe.
