Speedchannel got bought by Nascar and all I see on that damn channel now is ******* Nascar programming. Used to watch all of the sport compact racing but noooooooooooooo Nascar had to can that when they took over the network... stupid *******...

I am with you dude. I dont care about a NASCAR race that happened in 1985. I wish they would bring back the Britsh touring races and the German touring races too.Man I can only dream of speed channel showing races from Japan

 

That would be sweet, unfortunetely though, the "genius" programmers who work for Nascar decided well.... who needs sport compact car racing... It was cool to wake up and watch that in the morning before work and school... Now it is some race from the 70's (Classic Nascar) or Nascar Nights or some crap... Ok I am done now... well almost a race from Japan would ******* rock!

Edit: And the programming change literally happened over night where I am at, one morning I wake up SCC racing, next morning Nascar 24 hours a day!

What you talking about they had Super touring race on just couple weeks ago. Normally because Speedvision nor Speed channel have rights to BTCC due to sat. company in europe beams to everyone but they don't want them to get it from another channel so normally what happens is the BTCC is recorded on tapes and then played back to us in the Fall...like alot other races as in DTM.

And it didn't happen over night there was like 2 months of warning and when the day would take place. Also there is plenty of road racing on there you just must never look at the speedtv.com guide. Wed. night is Nascar night like tonight was all about Motorbikes and races. Weekend is normally all about rally and F1 and CART or IMSA or Grand American series. Also theres the Speed channel WC series as well. Hell last week the Sun I believer there wasn't anything even on about Nascar it was all about F1 as it was replayed 3 times!

 

Do you also happen to have the autox vid with the song "My favorite Game"

 

im kinda glad the channel changed....no more boating or plane BS....and A LOT MORE WRC! hell yeah! the WRC coverage is awesome now...instead of just a 1 hour highlight of the entire rally, we get hours worth of the entire event.....i give the new speed channel a thumbs up, more coverage for things i like. but the nascar stuff does suck.....im not into roundy-round racing.

 

Yes well I didn't pay attention to the date changes because I have more important things to do... college... girlfriend... sleep... not pay attention to programming changes on the tele, but everytime I go to watch the damn thing nothing interesting on. Not into the F1, or CART series... Oh well...
