I was just curious about this...Is it possible to switch around the front springs to the rear and the rear to the front? If not, what would be the consequences?
What kind of springs do you have?
Some springs have different lengths, diameters, spring rates ect. So it depends.
Skunk 2 coilover for example have the same diameter so they can be switched front and rear. I believe ground controls are like that.
Regular springs like eibach, H&R, or tein i dont think would work bc the springs wont fit in the other perches correctly.

you mean if the springs were adjustable race springs. like from ground control and ERS.
you COULD switch regular springs front and back, but its not advised. ride heights are probably going to be messed up.

You only want to do that if you've got adjustable height coil-overs. Then you will be able to fix your F'ed up ride height...

No, I meant that I have seen quite a few posts where people have mistakenly switched them from front to back, so the front was dumped and the rear had a huge gap. I know Eibach springs usually have .001 marked for the front and .002 for the rears (excluding ERS of course).

alright, rereading what you said, yeah, its possible. as in you can physically do it. i read that you were implying ppl do it all the time (purposely, as if its a good thing). which then i wouldnt agree with.
ive also installed my eibach prokits wrong the first time. but i remember i realized immediately i did something wrong.

Yeah, thanks for the clarification. The way he asked it, I just assumed that something was wrong, and he was wondering if it was possible.

I have neuspeed race springs (yellow)...I'm just curious if it could be done and if it would F everything up. Or what springs should I get? The ones I have now are 2.25 in the front and 2.00 in the back. My 18's rub now...I'm going down to 16's. will they rub also?
it depends on what tire you run. I'm lowered 3" with Dunlop FM-901 205/40/16 and I never have rubbing problems...
Most people run 205/45/16 without problems. The good part about that size is that you don't have to go as low to make the car look good...

I have my Eibachs switched, but I also have ground controls. I have a turn of preload on the front and it's still pretty low, and the rears can be moved freely along the shock when the suspension is unloaded. So yes, if you have some kind of adjustable suspension, or you don't care about having a stupid looking car, you can do it. Stiffer springs in the rear should make the car understeer a little less.
