Driver side HID wont turn on!!! Please Help
Heres the deal... My driver side hid is out. Its getting its power from the high beam power wire because the low beam wire was blown out a while back ago for some odd reason. The weird thing about this problem is one of the hid's is still on and the Blue Highbeam light wont come on in the car either. The problem with my hid must be linked to this Blue light not comming on. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Its too dark to check the fuse now but thats what im going to do first thing in the morning, but its not likely to be ther problem because one light is still working fine. Thanks in advance.
Ok for one wires don't "blow out". Find the lowbeam fuse and check it. If it is blown replace it. If it isn't you have an issue in a relay most likely. Now once you sort that mess out learn how to use a relay and use a relay to activate your ballasts with power straight off the battery.
the first time the light went out, i tested my entire hid set up and everything worked fine, which is why i determined it was a problem with the harness. You are right.. wires dont just blow out but everythign else was working fine and the fuses were good. thats why i changed it to the high beam wire. The kit that i have (X5) tells me to hook the kit up to the H4 plug. thanks for your reply's...

dont atke power off the battery thats ghetto. agree check ur fuses and connectons take the bulb out and make sure t ddnt blow up . its most lkely your fuse because they blow when dong the plug and play.so be careful and watch your fuses and connections and check ur connection from the ballast to the plug.

hey fellas... thanks for all your help... it was a fuse located undert the steering wheel... everything works great now.. so i guess if your blue light in your cluster turns off... its cause of a blown fuse.. Thanks again to everyone for their help
