sensor bolted on to fuel rail what is it thanx???????
there is a fuel line going into the fuel rail, the rail itself, the fuel pressure regulator, the injectors, and the wire harnesses for the injectors. what sensor are you talking about? do you have a pic? i can't find anything on a fuel rail sensor.
what i mean is the bracket that the sensor is on is bolted to the fuel rail. it has a **** on it that looks like it could turn but it dosent it also has a vacum line that goes to the butterfly diaphram.

it not connected to the fuel rail at all, its the egr valve. It recirculates the exhaust gases in your intake and reduces emissions some how. Take it off and clean the carbon deposits off of it and your car will idle better, mine did.

its not the egr valve i know where that is what im talking about is inbetween the fuel rail and the intake manifold it is blac and has a **** on the top of it has a vacum line running to the driverside intake manifold butterfly diaphram and an electrical conector to it with two wires it.
i was told it's not used when you swap over your jdm h22 on an h23 harness. i'll be turning over my car later this week so i'll let you know if i have nay problems with no electrical connector in it

you may be looking at the idle air control valve (IACV) sensor. the plug for that on mine is connected to the fuel rail cover. secondly, i think your vacuum lines may be wrong because the vacuum line from the butterfly valve should be connected to the vaccum canister below the intake manifold. hope that helps.
ok it has tow lines coming out of it one goes to the top port of the fuel pressure reg and on the other side a line goes to the intake manifold. i know with my civic the top port of the fpr went strait to the intake mani but the h22 has this sensor inline of it there are 2 wires that are run to this sensor so i dont know if i can just get rid of it and run the vac line from the fpr to the intake mani or if this is neccasary and will throw a code if i dont wire it up?

check that thread. I think thats what you are talking about. If so, my JDM H22a had that same sensor but my Prelude already had the same sensor on the firewall i think. I just removed it and ran the vac line straight to the IM like the above poster said.
