in 99 civics changed to obd2b the 96 and 98 were obd2a check a 99 or 00 civic it should help you... I would guess that it has something to do with the change from obd2a to 2b good luck

i appreciate your help but obd2a to obd2b is a wiring change. it has nothing to do with the vacuum lines. i found out that it goes onto the intake arm. but since i am using an intake arm off a car that doesnt have the nipple i need i got it under control with ordering a aem unit. thanks though

EGR line to evap cannister, it would be mounted to the firewall and that line provides vaccum to the cannister to vent the gas tank at idle.there should be a plug for the solenoid that regulates when it opens.

At least thats what I can tell from your pics.

Kind of looks like the Air Injection unit that appeared on 99-00 Ex's. It just helps provide additional air at startup when the coolant is cold (is the bottom of it sitting in the thermostat housing?). If you've ever held a 96-98 and 99-00 Ex intake manifold, you'll notice 4 small holes on the inside the 99-00 manifold flange above the intake ports. Those holes lead to that valve and the other hose that isn't connected (from that valve) should be connected to the intake piping.

Part #24?
