I keep getting a check engine light and then i try and pull the code the light doesnt flash and i start the car back up the light is gone and comes back on after it runs again for a little bit. Need help on what to do on how to do on to see how i can figure out what code it is throwing.

 

are you using the correct ecu for the car?

 

maybe i should of put down i have an ls vtec with a chipped p28. A brief driscription on what happens runs normal and then the rpm's jump up some and it runs rich, tried to drive it some and it seem like it didnt want to run to well when it got around 4 grand and it like made the car jumpy some. As soon as you shut the car off the code like resets its self and its gone and comes back on when it runs for a little bit. Obd1 ecu
