Sorry for the thread, but I'm so ******* pumped it's not even funny. I love this feeling. This is going to be a pic post for the next week. My car should be done by Weds or Thurs. They have to sand it, buff etc.

I bought this 97 GS exactly one year ago on march 20. It's came a good way. Ill let the pictures tell the story.

How she sits tonite. I love the color. The metallic is nutz. The color is Sunlight Silver Metallic (22v) of of various mazdas. More so the rx-8.
Now remember it's still semi tacky in these pics. Once its sanded and buffed and polished the orange peel and tiny marks wont be there

Shouldn't have painted the front grill though. Stock, its black.

It looked good before. Should have done some power and suspension / wheels upgrades instead.

Yeah , I had to tell them to. Dont use Flat Black when you paint it, it kinda turns an off black, Theres a certain paint that doesnt, use the Search feature I remember seeing it on a thread a week ago.

The PO of the type-r must had some aftermarket fogs in it. It was like that when I bought it. Hopefully I can cut a piece for the boneyard and glue it in

Call me blind but I can't see the differences in the front ends. I could never tell what the difference with the 98+ conversions. Could someone please tell me what the difference is?
