Default b18b1 into a 99 civic ex, crank position sensor trouble

I have a 99 civic Ex and I just started my swap of a b18b1 with an obd1 ecu. I have the wiring harness already. I need to know what the deal is with this Crank Position sensor and the dizzy wire up. Also theres something about a IACV with theses swaps as well. I couldnt find jack **** when I searched and I've been doing my homework on this swap for the past 7 months. Need help fast. Want to get my b18b boost ej8 back on the road. Someone has to know about this wiring

Wire the distibutor wire for wire.
With OBD1 ECU, don't need to worry about the crank pick up a all.

nice so that sensor doesnt even matter, I dont even have to connect or splice it at all? ****, that sounds good to me. Will that cause any problems at all. I'm using the p75 ecu with Crome engine management and I'm using my 99 ex wiring harness with a obd2b-obd1 conversion harness. This should all be compatable with this swap correct?

The CKF sensor is an OBD2 exclusive item. No need to worry about it for OBD1. You have an Ex. Unless the Ex had an auto tranny in it originally, no need to worry about the IACV. As for the distributor, while it may be color for color, I'd check a Helms first to make sure.

Check the link in my sig for further info.

good link in the sig, totally forgot about that one write up. I've read it prolly a dozen times and never thought to bring that up. So I truely don't need a crank position sensor at all with this swap. That's pretty interesting. Thanks for the help guys!

You don't need a CKF...Crank Fluctuation sensor. The CKP, Crank Position, is up inside the distributor and IS needed.
