Here's all the details.
Thursday- put the reconditioned head back on the engine with the new cams, valve springs and retainers. UNTUNED
up till sunday the car runs ok but not fine it's very rough (As it's untuned) the idle is also rough and can die right down (although this was an issue before the head work it just became worse after)
Then sunday- at the air2there drags the car was going fine although still running quite rough without a tune. It had 98 octane in it with a bottle of octane booster which raises the ocatane by about 5 octane.
After my 2nd very bullsih run coming back into the pits the idle kept dropping and then dying.
I lef the car for the rest of the day but it was still very bad on the drive back as soon as you slow right down the car cuts out and dies, a bit like it has no fuel.
Also if just left idling after starting the car it will be fine for about 1min then start to drop but if reved it'll drop back down straight away.
any ideas?

Was the gas you were running leaded? If so, between the leaded gas and crappy octane booster whish is not regulated therefore could be pee in a bottle (seriously) then you could have very well killed your O2 sensors.

Sorted out the problem a bit last night, played around with the butterfly screw and the throttle cable to lift the idle, it now idles about 1500 when warm but i need to rev it up to that before it will sit there.
Am going to sort a tune now i have a hondata sorted.
The fuel was unleaded 98 with ocatne booster taking it to 103 octane roughly.
