Yes Yes another question about ps to manual steering conversion

For those of you that have converted your ps rack to a manual rack by gutting it out. After doing this conversion does the wheel return to center when it is released while driving as it does with ps or do you manually have to steer it back to center?

i think we would have heard about it if the steering didnt recenter after doing this. but just in case. . .
