Default installed apexi n1 correct?

i installed an apexi n1 catback exhaust on my coupe but it didnt seem to fit right, and yes it was for a coupe. when i first swapped in my ls motor i used the stock ex cat. converter but i had to cut off the flange and turn it to match the collector on the header. and i was wondering if that would effect the reason why the exhaust doesnt line up correctly like it does in the instruction page of installing the exhaust. i bolted the resonator section of the exhaust to the cat and then the s pipe and when i bolted up the axle back section it pulled tight against the heat sheilds and vibrated badly so i removed it, any advice would help or if anyone has a coupe with pics of the n1 would also help. before i installed the exhaust i matched it with my stock exhaust and it looked the same( bends and hangers) but when i put it on underneath it didnt seem right, i was wondering if the cat. being modified might have something to do with it and i did forget the instructions when i went and did it and that didnt help but if anyone else had problems if you can post them . thanks for the help
