Default To any 4th Gens that did H23 swaps

Yes, i've used the search function and i've found no responses to my question...I got a full H23 swap, 35,000 miles, tranny, ecu, axles, harness, mounts, etc... for 1000 dollars....haven't installed it yet...was told tho that some minor welding would be required. Anyone have to weld when doing the swap? I was under the impression that it was basically a drop in bolt up swap. Any info would be appreciated.

welding?!?!?!?!?!
h22/h23 is mount identical, there should be no welding involved at all

A good friend of mine had a prelude which he swapped a H23 into...unfortunately his E-brake doesn't work for a damn and he lives on a hill. His car rolled back into a large tree stump and basically totalled his car...he cut me a real nice deal since he knew i was in need of a motor (241,600 on my F22). He just tried to tell me it required a minor bit of welding and I swore that both the H23 and the H22 were straight up drop in bolt up swaps. I just wanted to hear from someone with a 4th gen that has done it before that would know for a fact if there was any involved.

oh in that case, an h23a1 into your car requires the death of your first born, moving the firewall back, rewiring tail lights, etc.

Perhaps you should sell it to me

Dude that totally sucks. If my car ever gets damaged, I bet it's gonna be from something lame like that and not actually happen on the road or track.

Hey Dave, dont you live up on a hill and park your car on top of that hill? I'd put a brick behind your wheel if I were you.
