If those new bushings are Poly, you're running a pretty stiff setup. Could be normal; I know my car hopped on the street alot with my GCs.

I have heard that a bad inner CV joints will cause a shimmy in the front end when power applied. I doubt that has much to with bumps & instability, but it couldn't hurt to check...
Also, make sure your rear Trailing-Arm bushings are in good shape. When these oversized bushings go bad, it creates an unstable feeling in the car over uneven surfaces...

Its your wheels unloading. This is similar to the tire shake you see on Top fuel cars. This really shocks the tranny/axles, so I would suggest to pedal over bumps or whenever your tires feel like they are unloading.
traction bars may help if you don't already have them. Other than that just take it easy over the unsmooth sufaces. This is just one of the disadvantages FWD cars experience over RWD.
