I have a 97 civic Cx Hatch

so last night was fine i drove and yea. woke up ths morning and there was no crank, and no start. the battery works fine cause my power windows staill work. please help what should i do first. thanks

 

make sure you battery cables are tight, and hit your starter with a hammer then see if it turns over. Prolly a bad starter, theres typically no warning, just bam, no start.

no, a bad starter will at least try to start..

its gotta be a bad terminal or something with the battery..check ur cables..

 

define try to start. I've had two bad starters on my car, i have a few old ones, and neither of them tried to start. They clicked. They can do other things, but if it won't turn over and its clicking, likely its clicking at the starter, and its not kicking out.

 

Ha found the problem. somehow one of the cable got loose ont he starter. wierd. the small cable next to the psitive terminal cable on the starter. thanks guys
