Swapped on a new front fender
After driving around for awhile with a crunched fender, I finally found a new black fender for pretty cheap on ebay.
This is what I've been driving around with for the past year

So I decided since I had a 3-day weekend it would be a good time to see if replacing this would be something I could tackle by myself.
It wasn't too difficult, had to take off the front wheel, fender liner, and bottom side molding. Here I have the fender ALMOST completely off.

A few more bolts and it was free!

The offender.

At last.... got the new fender on, the side molding back on, the fender liner back on, tire back on...

Soooo much better. I tried for a year to convince myself I didn't care, but I just hated looking at that fender. The whole she-bang cost me less than $100.
I found some directions somewhere on this forum which proved very helpful.

taking the wheel off certainly gives you more working area. The liner only has to be unclipped from the fender. Maybe she replaced the liner too? Otherwise you are correct.

Actually, the fender liner was bent in half due to the nature of the dent on the original fender. I took it off to see if I could save it by straightening it out (luckily I was able to do so).
So far I have been very happy with how easy this car has been to work on. It's my first Honda and I can certainly see now why people are so loyal to Honda.
It has 140,000 miles on it and still drives great.
