How much can I find a CBR F2 priced for?
I currently have a 92 Yamaha Seca II, which is a good bike to learn to ride on, but when I get my experience up, I want to get a F2.
I have an Accord, and I want to keep it in the family and reliability by gettig a CBR F2. Maybe a older year.
1. What price could I expect to find a cheap reasonable F2 for?
2. What should I look out for when looking for F2? Are there any common problems or issues?

last fall I found a nice mint one with yoshi full exhaust and jet kit for $1500. Never got it though cause the guy was always busy and it wasn't really what I was looking for...
WOW! That sound like a price I would be DREAMING of!! Is it normal to be able to find one for that price? I would love that sooo much.
Look for F3's also - remember these are old bikes and there arent that many around. A lot of them have been crashed or parted out.
I am really happy with my F3, but just be patient and be willing to travel to find a good one. Plastics are available on ebay if you're patient, the cam chain tensioner will fail at some point ($50 for a new one).
I picked mine up for $2600, in good shape, 20k miles.

I picked up my 94 f2 with 23,xxx miles for 2300. Not the BEST deal in the world but it came with bike stands, slip on, brand new diablo tires, new throttle and clutch cables, new brakes, new f4i shock/spring, and some other misc. goodies. Ridden it 1000 miles now with ZERO problems so I'm happy with the purchase.
Just installed new grips, bar ends, and shortly clutch/brake levers. Mmmmmm

I had a 94 seca myself! Great bike to learn on, and unless you bought it new you wont lose a lot of $ selling it when upgrading. Good luck.

Yeah I'm happy - it needs tires and a cam chain tensioner, but its been kept up pretty well.
I see a lot of them on ebay where people are asking $3500+ for the F3's, which makes zero sense because for a few hundred more you can get an F4i. 10 year old bikes just arent worth $4k.
