Default 02 RSX Headlight Replacement

ok... ive changed bulbs once... and that was by removing the bumper. i was wondering if theres an even easier way of doing it. id do it by just opening the hood and just change bulbs the ordinary way.. but shiet... it soo fukkn crampt in there. so i figure.. take off bumper. yeah it was easier to change that way.. but takes too long to take off bumper and what not.

so yeh.. anyone has suggestions on doing it a lil quicker than that?

I've gotten cheap bulbs that blew like every other week. The first time I put them in took a little while but the more and more you do it the gasket gets esier to remove and it goes by quicker. Also, the washer fluid openning can move and so can the tank o the other side.
I just got new better bulbs so hopefully I don't have to do it for a while.

I've heard some people do it by just sticking there hands in there.
I find it a lot easier to just take off the front bumper.

One tip of advice, don't buy aftermarket bulbs that are blue or "high wattage" they last a very short time because they have to work harder to produce even the same amount of light. The only bulb worth buying which is not an OEM bulb is the Toshiba Infra-Red bulb which puts out almost 2x the amout of light as ordinary bulbs with the same life span. rallylights.com is the only place I know that carries them.

God kills a kitten everytime you put blue bulbs in your ricemobile.

when it comes to higher wattage bulbs.. what my friend told me, is that APC actually makes upgraded wire harnesses. and that actually does work.

APC finally has something useful. i found a set at Pep Boys.

I have an 03 Type S and I went thourgh a stage where I was blowing blubs a lot. You don't need to take the front bumper off.. All I do is move the washer fluid resivor and move the power steering fluid resivior. I takes me a total of 5 minutes to change the low beams and 5 minutes for the brights. Its really easy, I can't believe you were actually taking the front bumper off...

hahahahah

noobie.
