i believe they do. if you're tlaking about the mac stuff that is. its good quality stuff, only reason I went with mac is I got such a good deal on the stuff, lower than what IR sells the stuff for.

Have a decent amount, but my pride and joy is the new snap-on mg31, 3/8" drive and the bitch has *****. Nice and loud too, pisses off everyone in the shop
But what I like about it is it's much more comfortable and much lighter than most others, especially 1/2" drives. $300 and worth every penny for as much as I've used it at home and work.

I have a crappy 1/2 crafstment impact, it sucks i hate it. I have an old ingersol-rand 1/2 gun and it rocks, plus it is probably 5 or 6 years old. I have 2 crafstmen airrachets, both work fine, i didn't buy either of them just inherited them. ALso have a cheap die grinder, HF most likely it work but sometimes doesn't want to spin.
I get to use a 3/8 ingersol-rand gun and it kicks ***, along with a 1/2.
Im going to be buying some Mac air tools shortly though.

it uses A LOT of air. way more than some of the better ones. admitedly, part of the problem is my compressor. You'd never notice it if you had a big setup. other than that I've really got no complaints, it does the job.

I've got a decent craftsman 1/2 impact, stanley straight grinder, and a craftsman air hammer
Ive got a brand new craftsman ratchet 3/8 if you wanna trade for somethin small.
I'd also like to know about the butterfly impact.

I have a quick question..
I am in the market for a compressor. I was wondering what size tank is required and how many CFM does the average fabricator need in order to power all the grinding and cutting? like does majority of the grinding and cutting air tools need like 6cfm?
Sorry for these stupid question, I dont know much about these..
thank you

most impacts that snap-on, cornwell, matco, mac, etc have are made from IR, just basically rebadged.
I have the TI2135 1/2" and it works fine. only thing I don't like about it is that it's kinda loud.
if you want a quiet strong gun, get the IR2131QT.
haven't really tried out any of the 3/8's drive. I'm pretty sure the TI2115 works fine. Snap-on has a new gun that compares itself to the TI2115. says it basically out-do's it all.

Ingersoll 1/2" Composite gun (the old one)
Ingersoll 3/8" Composite gun (the old one)
ingersoll 3/8 air ratchet
ingersoll 3/8 stubby air ratchet
Snap-on air hammer
about 20 Harbor Freight die grinders.
3 harbor freight cut off tools.
Matco composite die grinder
Mac die grinder
Blue Point surface prep tool
Mac 1/4 inch air ratchet
3 or 4 Harbor freight 3/8 stubby impact guns (the ones that go for 19.99)
Blue Point 3/8 air ratchet
Old Blue Point 1/2 inch gun
Ingersoll makes the best air tools IMO. They can be purchased online for a resonable price, or on the Snap on truck for 3 times that.
Snap on air impacts used to suck *****, but now they're pretty good.
For Die grinders, its hard to beat the harbor freight specials....durring a sale you can wald out of the store with 5 of them for under $50. I was pissed off when my first one quit turning, so I went to pick up my $150 matco unit to finish the job....it spun about 50 times and locked up. I've got a harbor frieght cut off tool that I've had since I started wrenching 9 years ago, I use it almost every day and it has yet to give me any ****. Blue point air ratchets suck....so do the HF air ratchets. Go ingersoll on those.

I think I am the proud owner of the cheapest set of air tools. Tool Shop is the brand name (Menards brand). They work just fine, but I need a stronger impact. I just use a 2 ft breaker bar when it fails me.
1/2" Impact
Die grinder
3/8" Air Rachet
Air chissel
Assorted nozzles, etc.
