Default Is it ok to drive on M&H's on the street

I recently bought some 235/60/15 M&H racemasters for the track and the track is 50 miles away do you think i'll be okay for the tires. Im way to lazy to swap them out at the track

50 miles on slicks and you wont have any rubber left. These slicks are made for drag racing, and we havent even gotten 50 passes on a set...

agreed, also what kills race tires is heat cycles, even more then wear. if driven on the street a lot they will get hard and be slow before they even wear down.

yeah 235/60/15 bias ply... I still spin 1st and 2nd but 3rd grips good. I really never hate problems with 3rd anyways.. Track it tomorrow so we will see how they do.

I drive on these tires all the time.To the track and back to the street races and they still last 3x longer than bfg drag radial.

man, if you're dyno'n that much, that's pretty good. most turbo Vw's (jettas/gti's) i've seen barely make 250whp at alot more boost 16-17psi.

i'm not really sure why everyones trying to compare apples n oranges. why doesnt anyone ****** look at the car dis kid has? its not an 80's turbo vw and its not an R32. so i'm not really sure why people keep bringing it up. cuz yes, they're are plenty of high hp R32's.

but regardless, it'll be cool to see a vw in the pro class today at the NW race series #2 race. hopefully there will be more den 3 cars in the class.
