What alternator belt with an ATI Dampener?
I am just installed my ATI dampener and bought a new alternator belt and of course it is to big. Does anyone have the part number or know what belt I need to run? Thanks
It's easy take a piece of string and tie it around the pulleys. Take it off. Cut it. Measure. The belt is going to be thicker then the string, so you have to account for that. You'll end up buy 2 or 3 belts. The last 3 digits on the belt part # is the length.
THATS funny when i put my ati damperner on it fit fine, guess u want full race baller style i just stuck with stock like
good luck chad

Incase anyone cares or for future reference. The two belts that autozone sells that fit are as follows.
GoodYear Gatorback Poly-V 4040275
Duralast 275K4
