Local buyers only.
Read the rules... if you can post, you can pack and ship. No local sales allowed.

Hey Vazquez911 sorry you took that so personal and seem to have nothing else better to do than troll through topics to complain... I don't mind selling things to people in different states but not something of this size. Also where are the rules posted??

I'll check what you have for sale and get back to you on your offer.

You called me a troll newbie?!??!!?

How about crawling back under your rock before I bitch smack your *** there. Learn respect, learn mannerisms... I will flame you, and I will own you.

I've been here long enough to KNOW the rules... if you don't know them... I'll say it again, "USE THE SEARCH FEATURE".

I'll let you live this time... with the server move, we've lost the archived discussion for the time being.

The rules stated (abridged version), "if you offer it, you'd better be ready to ship it..."

Actually, he's correct...although the rules are being modified right now, they will be posted shortly w/ the new changes. Honda Tech is giving the FREE SPACE to advertise your item for sale, and all that we ask in return is that EVERYONE HAVE TO ABILITY TO PURCHASE IT!

and I'm also going to steal Vazques911's quote "If you can post it, you can ship it"

Your title has been edited for you, please edit your post to comply w/ this policy...If you have any further ?'s, please feel free to contact me, or the other moderator of the classifieds (mouhadIb)

Jason thanks for the better explaination on how things work here.

I will not advertise the seats on this message board, because I refuse to ship them.

Vazquez991, although I may be a newbie here doesn't mean that you have to be a d!ck about the situation. If you've been here sooo long you should make a better example than what you've shown me so far, but thanks for telling me the rules the best you could... And for your threats, I'm an adult and I present myself as such maybe you can learn to do the same.

Once again thanks for the info Jason...

Seats are no longer for sell on the message board. As far as I'm concerned this thread is closed.

the whole point the old schoolers are trying to get across to you is that you dont have to lower your price or absorb the shipping costs.

what you need to do is to be open to the chance that an East Coast buyer wants West Coast goods, AND will pay in advance including the agreed upon shipping costs. You migh tbe amazed how much it costs to ship, but you must also know there are not a lot of wicked performance or trick mod parts available across the country. Help those fellow Honda-Techers out that live in rural spots or wherever and know what up but cant get great deals. As a guy that has bought thousands of dollars in used **** from the west coast, most of which would take me too long to find locally or even anywhere near local.

If a buyer pays up front and includes the shipping costs, why wouldnt you ship?
I can only understand you might be too busy, but how busy can a guy be?
I have made extra loot because I was willing to ship too, so remember there may be even better results as a seller if you agree to ship. just get your loot first.

exactly...make it clear to the buyer BEFORE HAND that you need some extra time to ship it, this can be a stipulation, but you're not going to pay for shipping, the buyer will.

owen, you're right I didn't think about the backside of the situation for the guys that don't have places nearby to get parts. I guess living in Cali does have its advantages... The "local buyers only" wasn't met to exclude people as a dis but I don't have a car large enough to bring the seats to the PO in order to ship. I would have to bring them to the PO first and box them up there which is more work than I up for. I probably could make a little more $$ but that wasn't my main concern. I sell things on eBay to people in different states and countries, however sometimes the payment never comes. Right now the seats are sitting in my kitchen and that's not the way to keep my woman happy. I was trying to move them on the quick if you know what I mean.
