I put 92 cams into my 91 last night, and now my car is actually slower. I thought I would gain some power with the newer cams, but the motor falls flat on its face after 5K. I'm gonna mess with the timing on the distributor to see if I can make a difference. It feels like I went from 14.9 to 16 flat. HELP!!!!!

I'm gonna have to agree...sounds like some mad retardation.

Did you adjust the valves afterwards?I once put an Si cam in my 91 Civic STD and it ran like crap, put the old cam in and still ran bad...adjusted valves and voila! If someone says you don't need to do a valve adjustment after swapping cams they're mistaken.
