so because some idiot who had my car before me spliced up my dash harness i'm trying to replace it. however, in the process i went to change it and lost all my dash lights (gauge cluster, climate controls, etc) all other lights work. i plugged the old harness back in and still no dash lights at all. i checked the fuses and they are all ok. what else could this be??

 

behind the dimmer switch theres 2 wires that you can jump that usually turn the dash lights on. search it, i found it a few months back but lost the thread

so i read somethin about a dimmer brain??? is that the same plug and line?

 

had the same problem...replaced the dimmer switch and everything worked perfect

 

yeah, i put in an uber cool jdm coin pocket and took off the dimmer switch, none of my cluster lights worked, so I just put the dimmer switch back on...now I'm so jdm!!! lol.
